We arrived in austria and its as beautiful as you would imagine it to be! the alps are gorgeous and i cannot wait to spend a couple of days here.. the days dont seem too packed so im excited to enjoy the country! we're staying in an old dormitory that was built for the athletes during the olympics in the 60s when austria hosted it so its pretty cool..
the rest of yesterday was a lot of fun.. we saw the USA/UK game yesterday in the square in prague and it was really exciting! everyone was so into it and there was a huge group of americans together cheering! it was a really fun atmosphere..
today on the way to austria we saw a concentration camp in germany.. it was dachau.. it was really sad and surreal to see but im glad i was able to see it.. its so hard to believe that people can really be that inhumane! even though i always knew this.. it really hit me today that God's people have really had to go through so much here on earth.. so many have lost their lives! its so sad but amazing how strong their faith was even after they were persecuted and treated like they were not even humans at all.. i feel so lucky to have the life that i have.. it was a good reminder to be thankful for all that i have!
